Astrosystems altitude bearings are available in 7 sizes and feature premium Baltic Birch plywood.  Each bearing is supplied with
your choice of smooth or textured  (Ebony Star) laminate ready to apply and each is finish routed with a 1/8 inch radius edge,
except the laminate edge.  The classic two spoke design makes these strong, light and stiff when supporting the vertical load of
the telescope.  This results in crisp, smooth motion.  For optimum stability and best movement we recommend using a bearing
diameter approximately 4-6 inches over the primary mirror diameter.  Unfinished and unsanded.
