Our quality heavy duty spiders use the finest materials and are built for optimum performance.  Custom-made and sized for your
tube, utilizing high-tensile steel TIG welded at the hub, giving the vanes extra stability.  The threaded stainless steel vane
tips (#10-32) are solidly TIG welded to the vanes, making this the strongest spider on the market.  Astrosystems spiders and
secondary holders are used by virtually all truss telescope manufacturers including Starmaster, Starsplitter, Discovery,
Obsession, Spacewalk, Night Sky, T scopes, Plettstone and Osypowski telescopes.

Size:
We'll need your tube ID to size the spider and tube thickness to supply proper length stainless steel mounting screws.

Cardboard tubes may require end rings or internal stiffening with fiberglass to avoid collapsing the tube when properly
tensioning the spider.  Allow 4-6 weeks fabrication time.
