Meade’s special two piece accessory kit includes the #126 2X Barlow and a 17.5mm Modified
Achromatic (1.25”) eyepiece. Adding this kit to your telescope will allow you to double the
magnification of the eyepiece included with the telescope as well as the 17.5mm included with
this kit. That’s four different magnifications!

Increase the power of your telescope with this Meade 2X #126 Barlow and 17.5mm eyepiece to create
exceptionally clear images with high contrast and light transmission. To determine how much power
this will add to your telescope, simply divide the focal length by the mm length of the eyepiece.
For instance, a telescope with a 400mm focal length used with this 17.5mm eyepiece will produce
approximately twenty-three power (23x) of magnification. When you add the Barlow, you’ll get
approximately forty-six power (46x) of magnification.
