ETX- 90AT Telescopes

For the casual or beginning observer the Meade ETX-90AT may be all the telescope ever required. Or, for
the advanced astronomer who already owns a larger instrument, the ETX-90AT is the perfect ultraportable,
diffraction-limited field telescope. Observe the continually changing cloud-belt patterns on the surface
of the planet Jupiter; shadows cast on to Jupiter as one of its four principal satellites transits the
planet's disc; the magnificent ring system and satellites of Saturn as well as dusky markings and the
ring-shadow on the surface of Saturn; Moon craters by the hundred, plus lunar rilles, mountain ranges,
and fault lines, all visible in brilliant, high-resolution, high-contrast detail; the variable phases of
the planets Mercury and Venus; prominent features on the surface of Mars. In deep-space the motivated
observer will find it difficult to exhaust the quantity of visible phenomena: the incandescent

ETX-125AT Telescopes

With twice the light-collecting area of the ETX-90AT, the ETX-125AT permits a much broader range of astronomical study. Jupiter's cloud belts, for example, are observable at a significantly heightened level of detail, with whirls and festoons and the Great Red Spot readily visible as they transit the planet's disc; the Cassini division in Saturn's rings is routinely seen, as are additional features of the planet's surface, even under less than perfect seeing conditions; microfine lunar detail beyond the reach of smaller telescopes can be resolved in the ETX-125AT. In deep-space the ETX-125AT's larger aperture enables the observation of galaxies and nebulae in much wider extension and permits the resolution of celestial objects as faint as magnitude 12.5. The entire Messier listing of 110 objects is now not only visible, but, in addition, every object takes on a readily discernible structure. LX400-ACF Advanced Coma-Free Telescopes

The ""advanced" in Advanced Coma-Free.

A traditional Ritchey-Chretien (RC) is a type of reflector that delivers a coma-free, flat field of
view via hyperbolic primary and secondary mirrors. RC telescopes (from a variety of manufacturers) are
found in most of the world's top observatories and NASA's Hubble Space Telescope. Because the mirrors in
these telescopes have always been very expensive to make, few amateur astronomers could enjoy them.
Fortunately, Meade engineers developed a radical new Advanced Coma-Free design by combining a hyperbolic
secondary mirror with a corrector-lens-and-spherical-primary-mirror combination that performs as one
hyperbolic element. This Advanced version of the traditional RC design produces a coma-free, flat field
of view that rivals traditional RC telescopes at a fraction of the cost. The design even eliminates
diffraction spikes and improves astigmatism, both of which are inherent in the traditional RC design.
When reviewing Meade's LX400-ACF Advanced Coma-Free, Sky and Telescope magazine said, " [It] does indeed
perform like a Ritchey-Chretien. The difference between the off-axis images (compared to a
Schmidt-Cassegrain) was dramatic to say the least."

A80Mf 80mm Achromatic Refractor Telescopes

If you are looking to start out with something a little larger than a beginner scope or need a better
finder scope for your large telescope, the A80Mf is the one to buy. Although it is just 10mm larger than
its smaller cousin the A70Lf, this extra aperture will reveal more detail in solar system objects and
the deep sky alike.

I find myself using the 80mm size for terrestrial viewing of ships on the ocean or whale watching. With
an optional sun projection accessory I have viewed sun spots projected onto a white surface. (Of course
NEVER look at the sun directly). The A80MfLf, although inexpensive is not a toy telescope. It has the
same quality glass and exacting workmanship that goes into our much larger instruments.

ED103S 103mm ED Apochromatic Refractor Telescopes

The newly designed high definition ED lens on the ED103S gives excellent optical performance with a
short optical tube for easy handling. The new ED lenses feature brighter images from the shorter f/7.7
focal ratio and capture crisp, pinpoint star images for your eye's enjoyment. The new ED103S lenses are
made with environment-friendly technologies, free of hazardous lead that helps to support a cleaner
global environment.

The optical tube comes equipped with a metal carry handle for easy one-hand carrying. The new lenses
focus the full visible spectrum of visible light to a critical point much more accurately than past ED
product. The ED103S lenses are almost free of chromatic aberration in all colors and are critically
sharp edge to edge. The astro-photographer will be especially pleased with the high contrast images
through this telescope.

NeoAchro 140

R130Sf 130mm Newtonian Reflector Telescopes

This lightweight 5" reflector is a favorite of many new astronomers because it features remarkable light
gathering with sharp images for its price and size. With a standard 20mm Plőssl more than the
entire moon fills the eyepiece. You'll view innumerable star clusters and dark clouds, not to mention
nebulas and galaxies.

Add a 32mm and the heavens open up with a remarkable 2.5 degree field of view! All of the stars in the
Pleiades can be viewed at the same time. The visual observer will enjoy wide views of deep sky objects.
Actual groups of nebula or clusters can be viewed at the same time with this instrument.  The R130Sf
comes standard with the 6 x30 finder and dovetail tube plate that fits very well on all the Vixen
mounts.

This is a scope you can start with on a basic user-friendly Porta Mount and later move up to one of our
electronic mounts such as the Skypod or Sphinx. 

R150Sf Newtonian Reflectors

visual observer will enjoy wide views of deep sky objects. Actual groups of nebula or clusters can be
viewed at the same time with this optical tube.This little brother of the R200SS, is a big performer and
features a sliding focuser. 

R200SS 200mm Newtonian Reflector Telescopes

The remarkably fast 200mm (8") f/4 parabolic primary mirror of the R200SS Newtonian reflector gives
extremely sharp images with no chromatic aberration. The use of state-of-the-art coating technology
yields the ideal surface for its f/4 primary mirror. The visual observer will enjoy wide views of deep
sky objects. Actual groups of nebula or clusters can be viewed at the same time with this instrument.

The telescope's large aperture and compact body make it ideally suited for astrophotography of nebulae,
star clusters and comets. The use of the optional coma corrector allows for a sharp coma-free image from
edge to edge, and the rack and pinion focusing mount, with an adapter, accepts 2 eyepieces.

VMC200L 200mm Catadioptrical Reflector Telescopes

The VMC200L is a unique catadioptric optical system. It incorporates a primary mirror and a meniscus
corrector just before a secondary mirror. By doing so, light is corrected twice on the optical path.
 
The end result is that spherical aberration and field curvature are corrected to a high degree of
optical performance. The VMC200L's primary mirror is f/2.5; the compound optical system is f/9.75. This
makes the system much more compact and portable than its competition.
